OK, the coffee shop theme is a bit of a lark. I didn't have any ideas on tap to knock out a quick web site to place my rocketry pictures. So just relax, have a cup of joe or your favorite frosty beverage and enjoy the finest show in near space.
The pictures on the site were taken by Kenneth J Brown AKA Saks Russell at rocketry events all around the USA. Just keep in mind that I do retain the copyright on all of the images. Photos for commercial use can be licensed at reasonable prices on an exclusive, non-exclusive or timed-exclusive basis.
My interest in getting back into rocketry was to get me out of my business once in a while and into something I remember fondly from my Jr. high school days. Oh boy, times have changed from the days when a D motor was king of the hill. I've managed to go from model kits to my level II certification in about 18 months of fun. I've also found some of the best, most interesting people are avid rocketeers too. The camaraderie at launches is a refreshing change from the relative indifference of people in general. This hobby is one that can be enjoyed by everyone from the cradle to the grave. The youngest I have seen was only 10 weeks or so (he needed some help from dad). The only lack seems to be single women. Word needs to get out that smart guys with good jobs launch rockets.
Rocket photography is a new interest of mine.
